Starting Mid-November 2013, Illuminati Tattoo Lounge (Orange, CA) will be offering walk-in tattoo sessions every Wednesday during normal business hours. Clients, both new and existing, will have access to all of the lounge’s talented tattoo artists with no appointment needed. Shop founder, Rafa Baragan, launched the promotion in an effort to help expose new clients to the award winning artists that call the lounge home. “We have so many talented artists, each with their own unique skill set,” said Baragan. By opening the entire shop up exclusively to walk-in tattoo sessions, Rafa hopes to bring new clients into the Illuminati Tattoo family on a regular basis. “Not everyone wants an entire back piece that takes 10-hours and this is the perfect opportunity for new clients to come in, discuss ideas, and see the talent at the shop.”
The promotion, which will run indefinitely, is the latest special offered by the Orange County, CA tattoo shop. Their $13 Friday the 13th tattoos drew such a crowd in September, that the line stretched around the building for most of the day. For those interested, Rafa plans on offering the Friday the 13th tattoo flash special again in December 2013. Clients can choose from flash art each artist has on-hand, for the incredibly low price of $13 ($20 really… $13 for the tattoo plus a $7 tip for good luck).

The Rolling Stones might just be the most well known band in the world. Formed in England in 1962, The Rolling Stones took the United States by storm in the 1960’s and 70’s and were an essential part of the counterculture movement. One of the more outspoken members of the band was/is guitarist Keith Richards, who gained notoriety for illicit drug use and his candour about using heroin and other substances. Most recently, Keith Richards was voted the #4 guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. Keith Richards is seemingly larger than life… In an April 2007 interview for NME magazine, music journalist Mark Beaumont asked Richards what the strangest thing he ever snorted was, and quoted him as saying: “My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn’t have cared … It went down pretty well, and I’m still alive.”
